Personal Perspectives

         It was a great adventure while doing my degree here. It is because, I’m totally out of my comfort zone and I learn that critical thinking and creative thinking is important in this competitive era. Also, I learn that, if you can’t be a good leader, then be a good subordinate. You have to be an opportunist and grab every chances that walks through you path because same luck never came twice! Alhamdulillah, now I’m on the edge of finishing my studies and to be honest, I will miss this moment my whole life and friends I’ve made here. 

-MAHYUDDIN HAFIZ BIN MOHAMAD, 2016-

                 When I decided to major in Record Management , I really had no clue what I was getting myself into for the next five years, but I can safely say from the finish line that it was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. The absolute best decision I ever made was to study Record management at UiTM Puncak Perdana, where I’ve had the opportunity to broaden my career through unique academic opportunities, professor relationships, extracurricular involvement, and summer job opportunities. The past two years as record management student at UiTM have, been the most diverse, transformative, and fun years of my life, and I’m grateful to finish my degree in information management at the end of this years.

-AFFENDI BIN IEZARA, 2016-

           I am about to finish my degree after 2 years and a half I have been this though yet exciting journey. I have about a week more to finish semester 6 before i start my practical on August. Final year has taught me about many things, friendship and the struggle throughout the semester especially during at the end of the semester. 

   My perspective as a final year student is i love the excitement and the challenges as I started to adapt the environment and people around me. For my study, I am struggling to score on this final semester so that I can grad with what I have aim at the beginning. I hope that I can apply what has been taught and experiences shared by my lecturers later on during my practical and working life. For overall, I love my course as I can see there are many career opportunities of the course in industry. So I hope that in future, I aim to be somebody in Records Management and I will prove to those who deny this course would be nowhere. 

-NORDALILA HAFIZAH SHAMSUDIN, 2016-

I am Bachelor of  Information Science (Hons) in Record Management student (IM246) and now I am a final year student after done with last three (3) semester. I am post-diploma student of Information Management which took about two years to graduated. Different from others semester, I admit that I had crucial time to finish this semester as a final year student. From the beginning of this semester, I already starting do the assignment given by the lecturer especially for the subject Evaluation of Information Services (IMC651) where this is the important subject me as a final year student has to take in order to pass, and or graduated for Degree. Not only for this subject, I also faced many difficulties when my assignments have not been approved by the lecturers. It took a few times to redo the assignments for improvement. The limitation of time makes me to work more harder than before. Even so, I am grateful because the lecturer gives me some time to do the correction and make improvement in order to gain the expected marks. Not only that, the challenges getting hard while struggling for those assignments, I also need to find any organization that provide students for internship. It is quite difficult as most of the companies are not allowing for practical and some of them giving late response towards my practical application. Because of this problems, I had to going back and so forth to my hometown just because to settle up this matter. My perspectives as a final year student is clearly define where final year student totally different from other semesters. We have to prepare mentally and physically to faced these challenges and for the last, final year students have to work more harder, disciplines, be more punctual, and able to manage time well because of the workloads that we need to going through along this final year journey.

-NOR IZZATI BINTI NADZARUDIN, 2016-

From my perspective, UiTM Puncak perdana give me an important chance to reflect my future. During my study here, I have a chance to express what we liked about our course and the teaching to the responsible staff. It’s also an opportunity for us to comment if we think there need to make improvement. Besides, I am as a student proud with UiTM nowadays because they successfully provide a quality and knowledgeable students with skills and confidence to take the next steps towards realizing their career goals. Besides, they also committed to providing us with the best possible lecturer experience, creating the ideal environment to help us succeed. However the challenging for me,  as we know levitating costs nowadays give a very profound impact for us to survive during study.
